Ben R. Roberts
Associate Trial Attorney  A third generation Texan and a native Houstonian, Mr. Roberts is a Cum Laude graduate of Texas Tech University, who earned his Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law. During his undergraduate years, he was included on the Dean's List for three years as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was granted membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society and Phi Delta Theta fraternity. An active sportsman and competitor, Mr. Roberts brings the tenacity of his athletic endeavors to his fight for client rights, and he takes special interest in battling insurance companies for fair settlements. In fact, it was his work for an insurance defense firm that convinced him he was on the wrong side of this legal equation. Appalled by the standing belief that his job was to keep the insurance company happy, Mr. Roberts quickly tired of working to deny underprivileged individuals their right to recover claims he felt were valid and he sought employment elsewhere. His search for the perfect position lead him to the Pinkerton Law Firm, PLLC and the tutelage of fellow Texas Tech alumnus Chad Pinkerton. Mr. Roberts previous employment in the legal profession included a rewarding stint at one of Houston's oldest and most respected plaintiff's firms, Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto, and Friend. As a clerk in this prestigious firm, Mr., Roberts was able to work with clients on a personal level and it was this service that convinced him he would one day become a plaintiff attorney.
